Job Description
NBBJ began to provide service in China more than fifteen years ago. Current projects recently opened in China include the Microsoft Headquarters in Beijing, Suning Headquarters in Nanjing and Yanlord Landmark in Chengdu. NBBJ Architectural Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a wholly foreign owned enterprise (WFOE) of NBBJ, is now interviewing for the following position in Shanghai.
NBBJ is seeking talented and energetic Landscape Designers/Architects to join our Shanghai studio. Experience with China based master planning and urban design projects is desired. Visualization requirements include excellent graphic representation, AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign skills. Additional design related computer skills such as REVIT, 3Dmax, SketchUp, Rhino and Grasshopper are highly desired. Basic knowledge of Chinese policy and design regulations is preferred. Strong verbal and written language skills are also required.
Language: Strong bi-lingual Mandarin/English verbal fluency is preferred. Fluent English skills are required to provide long term success in a geographically diverse studio environment.
Experience: 3+ years is required. Landscape design experience obtained abroad is also preferred but not required. LEED accredited candidates are preferred.
Education: A Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or equivalent is required. A Master of Architecture or Urban Design from a western institution is highly desired but not required.
